At the heart of what we do at Render Loyalty is the hope that our photographs will inspire compassion and conservation. While some of us may never have the chance to go to Africa or other distant places and see these threatened species ourselves, photography gives us a chance to intimately experience these creatures. But, the power of a photograph depends on a creative process conceived with care. From the beginning, it’s been important to me that Render Loyalty creates photographs capable of standing the test of time—photographs that immortalize the majesty of our world’s animals. Every step of our creative process was designed to achieve that goal.
Film over Digital
From the moment we touched down in Kenya last year, I started documenting our journey on film—snapping with my Contax 645 medium format camera and 80mm f/2.0 and 350 f/4 lenses to capture a range of textures. While digital has its benefits, I prefer film for its depth and resonance. It’s the ultimate medium to capture the world’s most beautiful animals—their luminescence, their strength, their fragility.
Fine Prints Made with Care
When it came to creating prints, we did our diligence to find a partner capable of replicating the detail and radiance of the photos in physical form. We work with California’s preeminent printing lab—Richard Photo Lab—to create one-of-a-kind photographic prints on Hahnemuhle fine art cotton rag photographic paper. Made using optimum printing techniques, these pieces will last for decades so that the invaluable beauty of the animals you love can be appreciated by future generations.
Hand-signed and Custom-framed
I hand-sign each piece of art, big or small. This ensures the work’s authenticity, and guarantees that the piece you own is a one-of-a-kind photograph with meaning. I hope that all the pieces purchased from Render Loyalty become treasured family heirlooms that continue to provide wonder and enjoyment for years to come.
After your piece is signed, it is hand-framed here in the U.S. We use understated wood frames that complement the artwork without competing with it. Our framing process preserves the integrity of the photograph, encasing it in a decorative and protective shell so that it can be displayed in your most sacred space—your home.
